Why Leelanau Blue? Well, it's really quite simple. When I was ten years old I was sailing to Mackinac with my dad. A sudden storm forced us to take cover in Northport, a place we were unfamiliar with. Once the storm had passed, I looked out and was speechless. I had never before seen a place where the water was THAT BLUE! Needless to say, Northport became our favorite destination rather than just a stopping point along the way.

 

Years later, I'm still taken with the blue water and the blue sky of Leelanau. This love of the area has inspired me to create Leelanau Blue. I hope that you enjoy our products and the Leelanau area as much as I do.
